Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.

Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.

Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

If not, don’t fret! You’ve got plenty more opportunities to watch us in the coming weeks.

If you’re looking to wile away a few hours tomorrow afternoon (19th August) then come and listen to our concert at Rylstone Gardens Bandstand, Shanklin which starts at 3pm. For the small price of a deckchair you can hear us play a wide variety of music including traditional marches and film themes.

You can also see us at 3 more Island carnivals – Cowes Illuminated on Saturday 25th at 9pm, Sandown Illuminated on Wednesday 29th at 8:30pm and Ryde Carnival on Saturday 30th at 6:30pm.

Finally we’ll be playing at the Isle of Wight Community Club, Cowes on Monday 27th at 1:15pm.

So you really have no excuse not to watch us!
