Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.

Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.

Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

We know it’s only November but we’ve started practising our Christmas tunes already! If you want a chance to hear them then head to the following events:

* Brainy Bunch Christmas Fair at Ryde Fire Station on Saturday 1st December at 2 pm.

* St Helens Lights of Love service at The Vine pub on Sunday 2nd December at 7 pm.

* Godshill Christmas Fair on Saturday 8th December between 2 pm and 4 pm.

* Carols at Tesco, Ryde on Sunday 9th December at 11 am.

* East Cowes Carol Concert at St James’ Church on Sunday 9th December at 4 pm.

* Lake Lights of Love service on Saturday 15th December at 12:30 pm.
