Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.
Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.
Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

If you play a musical instrument or would like to learn to play a musical instrument in a fun environment,
why not come along to one of our practice nights and see what we are about?
Practice nights are held on Tuesdays (19:15 - 21:00) at Cowes Methodist Church, Birmingham Rd, Cowes.
Then don’t panic, you can catch us at Shanklin Carnival on Wednesday 5th August or Cowes Carnival on Thursday 6th August.
Both carnivals move off at 7pm; Shanklin’s starts at Popham Road and winds its way up through Shanklin Old Village, down Regent Street and ends at Chine Avenue and Cowes’ starts at Crossfield Avenue.
