Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.

Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.

Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

Our charity concert in aid of SSAFA

On Sunday 26th October we will be performing a concert in aid of St Vincent’s, the SSAFA-run (Soldiers’, Sailors’ and Airmens’ Families Association) residential care home in Ryde.

It’s taking place at Medina Theatre in Newport, starting at 6pm and tickets can be bought from the Medina Theatre box office for just £5. They’re selling fast so get yours quick!

We’ll be playing a wide selection of music ranging from traditional marches to movie and musical soundtracks that will have you singing along, tapping your toes and clapping your hands.

Come along, enjoy an evening of music and support a fantastic charity. See you there!
