Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.
Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.
Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

Practice nights are held on Tuesdays (19:15 - 21:00) at Cowes Methodist Church, Birmingham Rd, Cowes.
On Saturday 16th August, you can hear (and watch!) us play at Ventnor Illuminated Carnival. The parade moves off from Pier Street, Ventnor at 9pm and as it’s a late start every float, walking entry and band will be decked out in a huge range of multi-coloured lights! The procession looks truly magical as it works its way around Ventnor town centre and we hope you can be there to witness and enjoy it!
