Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.
Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.
Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

Practice nights are held on Tuesdays (19:15 - 21:00) at Cowes Methodist Church, Birmingham Rd, Cowes.
Well now’s your chance!
We’ll be taking part in Shanklin Carnival on Wednesday 2nd August which moves off from Popham Road at 7 pm and Shanklin Illuminated Carnival on Saturday 5th August which leaves Popham Road at 9:15 pm.
We’ll also be doing an arena display at Chale Show on Saturday 5th August at 12:40 pm so come along and you never know, you might get a chance to have a go at marching with us!
