Our motto is not just a collection of words, it was formed by all that the band does.

Wight Diamonds is a community band formed in 2000. We operate as both a concert band and as a marching band with members from various backgrounds, ages and abilities playing in one or both capacities.

Each year we participate in a variety of events on the Island and the Mainland including carnivals, fetes, bandstands, concerts and private events.

We’re making two appearances on the Island this weekend so be sure to come by and say hello!

Pop down to St Michael’s Church, Ryde on Saturday 20th September at 7:00pm for a concert that has a programme filled with some real toe-tapping favourites. Tickets are only £3.50 (what a bargain!) and refreshments will be available. What more could you want?

Catch us performing at the Isle of Wight Donkey Sanctuary open day on Sunday 21st September from 2pm. Opened in 1987 to provide any donkey in distress or otherwise in need of care and attention, a safe and permanent home, the sanctuary relies entirely on donations so come along, say hi to the donkeys and help support a worthwhile charity.
